Our Fees

At Riverside General Practice, we aim to provide transparent and fair fees while delivering
high-quality medical care.

Bulk billing policy

  • Riverside GP is not a bulk-billing practice.

  • Bulk billing is available for:

    • Children under 15 years of age

    • Partners of Veteran Affairs card holders

Discounted rates

  • Pensioners and Health Care Card holders are eligible for discounted consultation rates.

  • Discounts are applied at the time of payment — please advise reception if you qualify.

Consultation Fees

  • Our fees vary depending on the length of the consultation and the type of service provided.

  • Please note: Fees are determined by individual GPs. Reception staff can provide the exact fee when booking your appointment.

Payment

  • Payment is required on the day of consultation.

  • Accepted payment methods:

    • Cash

    • EFTPOS

    • Credit card

Medicare rebate claiming

  • Medicare rebates can be claimed on the spot through our clinic facilities.

Consultation length

  • Our appointment system offers urgent, non urgent, complex care, chronic care, preventative healthcare and "on the day" appointments.

  • Standard consultations are available and lasts up to 15 minutes. Longer consultations are offered to patients and lasts up to 30 minutes.

  • If you are needing a longer consultation please advise our reception staff.

  • Urgent consultations will be seen by the next available Doctor.

  • Please advise reception if you believe you are requiring an urgent appointment.
